Dataminer FortTory has revealed a screenshot from the Italian App Store, on which we can see the mention of "Fortnite - Chapter 2" — as well as a visual of what could possibly be a new map.
All this is to be taken with a pinch of salt — even if FortTory is known to be a serious leaker. This may well be fake, although everything is consistent with previous clues on the outcome of Season 10.
The closing event of the season is called "The End", and will be the beginning of a new era in Fortnite. Concerning the new map, we have known for several weeks now that a bunch of new places have been datamined and could match the arrival of a new entire map.
When you look at the image carefully, you realize that a river splits the landscape. Will water have a more important part to play in our matches than before?
In early September a list of dataminated POIs was released, and we noted the large number of places related to water-based environments — Dirty Docks, Lazy Lake, Slurpy Swamp, Sunny Shores.
This brand new illustration even contains an equally interesting element: the white streaks in the middle of the river. Are they boats? It could simply be a depiction of the current, but this hypothesis deserves to be taken into account.
"The End" event is coming soon! Players can now hear warning signals around Dusty Depot. The place has become unbreakable, while Season 10 ends in two days. Coincidence? Certainly not!
