A major Fortnite event is expected to drop in the coming days. Some leaks favor the idea of a radical map change, while the Dusty Depot rocket is about to take off. To top it all off, B.R.U.T.E.S. seem to be infected by a curious virus...

All theories for 'The End' of Fortnite Season 10

The map in Fortnite seems threatened. Season 10 — which will remain one of the most controversial in the battle royale game's history — is about to end, giving way to Season 11.

Multiple leaks and scattered clues have allowed us to develop theories about what will happen in a few days. Dataminers all over the world are certain: something big is coming, something which will completely change the game as we know it today. Here, we take a look at the more prevalent theories.

The arrival of a new map?

For nearly three weeks, leakers have been discovering the names of new places. There are dozens that don't correspond to anything known so far, and could refer to a total change in the topography of the game. In other words, Season 11 could be the launch of a brand new island.

One of the game's biggest sources of leaks, Lucas7Yoshi, has backed down, and simply thinks that the current locations are going to be updated.

Illustration files from the end of Season 10 also suggest a change of setting or a transition to another island.

Imminent ignition

At the heart of the Machiavellian plans of "The Seven" — and their famous scientist — is the Dusty Depot rocket. This one was built quickly, and its takeoff is coming soon. It's not yet known what its purpose or destination are, but the launch will take place before the end of the season — or, to inaugurate the next.

The dataminers also expect a countdown to announce the next event in-game. It could logically be linked to the take-off of the rocket. Even worse, the last event of the season has a name — "The End."

This title has been datamined and announces a cataclysm is approaching.

A sudden and devastating end

B.R.U.T.E.S. have been in the news all season long. They even needed an official explanation to justify their presence in the game, via a statement from Epic Games. Just ask Mr. Schwarzenegger — all robots have vulnerabilities! B.R.U.T.E.S. are no exception.

Since v10.40, Dusty's computers have been showing these suits infected with a fatal virus. As soon as they land on the map, they destroy themselves...

They will not be mourned, but they could also be the beginning of something much worse!
