Former CS:GO pro nitr0 to transition to Valorant

Since its release, Valorant has won over many professional players from other esports stages. In addition to Overwatch and Fortnite, numerous alumni of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene like Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas Colocho or Spencer "Hiko" Martin decided that it was time to convert themselves to a new FPS.

According to ESPN, Nicholas " nitr0 " Cannella could really well follow in their footsteps as he recently left Team Liquid.

Hallway noise still needs to be formalized

A veteran player

nitr0 is a very experienced player who has played a major role in the development of Team Liquid, an organization in which he played from 2015 to 2020. As the in-game leader, he won numerous S-Tier tournaments. If his former team needed renewal, his replacement by a rising star of the American scene does not at all call into question the level and qualities of the veteran.

His high-level experience, his leadership, and his rigorous work could bring a lot to a roster built from scratches. He could very well take a new Valorant team under his wing, as he did with Team Liquid on CS: GO.

Which team for nitr0?

nitr0 would have been contacted by many organizations, whose names have not been leaked. With an attractive profile, his strong competitive background, and his well-known name, this is no surprise. We could have safely assumed that it would join Team Liquid's Valorant roster, but the latter has already been locked yesterday.

In any case, we do not worry too much about him. Valorant's American scene is very dynamic and many organizations are still setting up their project...

A new ping system will soon be implemented to Valorant!

In most online games, communication is essential within a team. If not everyone wants to communicate by voice, a quick way to give information is the communication ping system — and Riot Games should improve Valorant's soon.
