With only two days between the event and the beginning of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3, Epic Games continues to unveil teasers on its social networks. The fourth clue clearly shows an astronaut, carrying a moon or a football sized asteroid.
The previous teasers remained focused on the marine theme. This teasing shift towards astronomy is unexpected, to say the least!
Stars never stayed very far from Apollo Island. At the end of Season 10, The End featured the rockets of the Seven, with a destruction of the map caused by a (re)fall of the meteor.
Concerning this teaser, interesting theories have already been published by Fortnite's specialists. Some recall that the moon is what causes the tidal phenomenon, because of its gravitational force.
Midas' machine seems to have completely derailed or accelerated the process of the great tide. Maybe the moon will be able to put all this back in order, even if we remain for the moment in the realm of the tortuous theory...
Some dataminers have also drawn a parallel between this teaser and an image that appeared in the offices during the event.
In this picture, we can see Jonesy congratulating an astronaut. Is this the same astronaut as on the teaser? It's hard to tell. The colors of the suit attachments aren't the same.
