With E3 having been cancelled this summer, Sony's Future of Gaming event gave us the glimpse of new trailers and gameplay showcases for upcoming PS5 games, much awaited for the end of 2020 and into 2021.
Grand Theft Auto 5
With over 130 million copies sold, the record-breaking and critically acclaimed GTA5 is coming to PlayStation 5 in the second half of 2021.
It will feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the console’s powerful new hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever.
The game's multiplayer experience, Grand Theft Auto Online, will also be free as a standalone title for three months for PlayStation 5 owners at launch.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, is an updated and expanded version of Insomniac Games' smash-hit PS4 title Spider-Man. Coming to PlayStation 5 in Holiday 2020, will add more Miles' story.

Demon's Souls
From JAPAN Studio and Bluepoint Games comes a remake of the PlayStation classic, Demon's Souls.
This remake invites players to experience the brutal 2009 challenge that kickstarted the wildly popular Soulsborne franchise by FromSoftware, completely rebuilt from the ground up and masterfully enhanced with a new “Fractured Mode."
In addition to beautiful shading effects and ray tracing, players can choose between two graphics modes while playing: one focused on fidelity, and one focused on frame rate.
NBA 2K21
The latest in a long-running and massively successful series, NBA 2K21 has been built from the ground up for PS5. Get ready for next-gen graphics, fast load times, and lots of power.
This sports sim will be available in Fall 2020.
Resident Evil Village (aka Resident Evil 8)
Fear will surround you in Resident Evil Village, a completely new instalment in Capcom's flagship survival horror series.
RE8 comes to PS5 in 2021.

Horizon Forbidden West

In somewhat of a shock move at the end of the Future of Gaming showcase, Sony finally revealed the PlayStation 5 console. A stylish black-and-white machine, the PS5 will come in two editions: a standard edition, and a Digital Edition that will not accept physical discs.
