The Overwatch League video contest with the $3,000 reward just ended, check the winner's video here.

If you follow the Overwatch League and are good at video editing, be responsive: Blizzard is running an exclusive video contest where you could win $3,000. The contest is open only to legal residents of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and France. Participants must be at least 18 years on the date of entry.

It's time to vote! Five creations are currently competing for the $3,000. If the choice will be difficult, you'll have to go to this link to give your vote to one of the videos before June 14!

The big winner will be announced on June 15 on the Overwatch League Youtube channel.

Contest Basics

You have until May 29 included to send your video. To enter the contest you must go to the OWL Frag Video Contest website and follow the steps in the entry form. The video must contain the best frags from the May Melee tournament for the games from May 22 to May 24. You must use only the official VOD or the Overwatch League Replay player via the Battle.net launcher.

The video must be original, complete and include only the assets provided on the site. Videos must be no longer than two minutes in length and must be uploaded to YouTube before submission. To be validated and eligible, videos must not contain any logo or any other intellectual property attesting to the identity of the owner of the video.

Voting Period

The first round of the judging phase is done by the jury and the sponsor. All eligible submissions received are judged according to specific criteria as follows:

  1. Relevance to the theme: 0-25 points
  2. Entertainment value: 0-25 points
  3. Passion (does the submission reveal your passion for OW): 0-25 points
  4. Creativity: 0-25 points

The five videos with the highest scores will be considered finalists and will be subject to a voting period. The finalists will be selected and contacted by email or phone around June 1st.

The public voting period will begin on June 2 and end on June 5.

Grand Prize Winner

The winner will receive $3,000 and will benefit from having their video previewed on the Overwatch League's YouTube channel. The winner's name will also be published on winners.teamdigital.com/OverwatchContest by July 30.
