The Twitch Rivals Legends of Runeterra tournament just ended with the victory of former Hearthstone player David "DogDog" Caero who pocketed a fifth of the $100,000 prize pool shared among 16 participants.

Legends of Runeterra will have its own Twitch Rivals! With a $100,000 prize pool and 16 excellent players from all titles of the CCG universe, the battle promises to be epic!

All participants will stream their own point of views, so feel free to go on their streams to encourage them.

Format

  • This tournament is organized in 1V1 Conquest

  • The matches are in Bo3

  • Each player brings 3 decks

  • One of the decks is banned by the opponent before the match

  • To win, you must win a round with each of the two non-banned decks

  • Each match will have a limit of 50 minutes. If it is reached, the players will have 3 all additional.

  • For this tournament, two phases are planned. First of all, a Swiss round, with three rounds which will allow the 16 players to be classified into two groups. Once done, a single-elimination tournament will take place between Top 8 players and another for Bottom 8 players.

Patch 1.1 Notes: A tons of bugs fixed since Rising Tides release

While this patch doesn't bring any card balance changes, it fixes several bugs related to the launch and the new expansion. Riot also gives us more information on the schedule of future patches!
