Flood, Doomsday... We don't yet know exactly what will happen at the beginning of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3, but it will certainly be something huge and terrible for the future of the island... This Friday, enigmatic red cables appeared in the Battle Pass lobby.
We don't yet know what horrible purpose they might serve, but the purple wires seem to be linked to Midas. Dataminers such as Hypex have highlighted the Golden Hands Genius' chamber, which hides a large amount of wire around a generator in the background.
These same dataminers explain that the generation of red wires will increase during different steps, and that something will happen at the end of the final phase: Doomsday.
As we write these lines, it's perilous to make a link between Doomsday and the Flood that will certainly hit the island soon. It's unlikely that the two disasters aren't linked.
