Rise of the Elements will soon make way to Galaxies, which means Teamfight Tactics is about to be overhauled!

We learned last week that Elemental Hexes would be replaced by a brand new core mechanic, the Galaxies, but Riot Games remained silent about the actual content of the next set.

New champions, new origins, and new classes — we gathered all the information that was given to us and compiled it below!

Although the following content comes directly from Riot Games, some of the synergies and origins mentioned in this article remain a mystery.

Our preview only contains 17 champions and 6 traits that are far from representing the complete pool.

In the press release, Riot is making reference to Vel'Koz as one of the champions that will be present in the set. However, as opposed to the other revealed champions, they didn't give precisions about him.

Based on his pool of skins, his Origins could be Celestial, just as Xayah

Leona, Fiora, Irelia, + at least 3 other champions that haven't yet been revealed

Cybernetic champions with an item equipped gain health and attack damage buff:

• (3) → 300 health & 30 attack damage

• (6) → 800 health & 80 attack damage.

Mech-Pilot

Annie, Rumble, Fizz

• (3) → At the start of combat, three Mech-Pilot champs are merged into a Super Mech until it dies. (see illustration below)

Star Guardian

Poppy, Zoe, Ahri, Neeko, Syndra, Soraka

Whenever a Star Guardian casts their spell, distribute mana among all the other Star Guardians.

• (3) → 20 mana

• (6) → 30 mana

Riot explains that we will have the possibility to combine a Tear of the Goddess with a Spatula to create a brand new item capable of granting the Star Guardian trait to any champion!

The press release is also mentioning four other Origins whose effects are still unknown to us:

  • Celestial: Xayah, Vel'Koz (?)
  • Chrono: Shen
  • Rebel: Yasuo, Ziggs
  • Valkyrie: Kayle

Classes

Blademaster

Fiora, Xayah, Shen, Yasuo, Kayle, Irelia

Blademasters have a chance on hit to attack two extra times.

• (3) → 25% chance

• (6) → 50% chance

Demolitionist

Ziggs, Rumble

• (2) → Demolitionist’s spells stun for 2.5 seconds

Sorcerer

Zoe, Ahri, Syndra, + at least 3 other champions that haven't yet been revealed

All allies gain increased Spell Power:

• (2) → +15%

• (4) → +40%

• (6) → +120%

Soraka still belongs to the Mystic class, and we can safely assume that the effect will be the same than Rise of the Elements.

However, Riot Games is also spotlighting four other Classes whose effects are still unknown to us:

  • Protector: Neeko
  • Vanguard: Leona, Poppy
  • Mana-Reaver: Irelia
  • Infiltrator: Fizz
