Dallas Empire Wins Call of Duty League Championship

The regular season's top two teams, Atlanta FaZe and Dallas Empire, face off in the Call of Duty League Grand Final.

London Royal Ravens: Time To Shine

Despite falling to the Dallas Empire in London, the Royal Ravens have a serious chance to spring a surprise and take the entire tournament. With Jordan "Jurd" Crowley returning to form alongside fellow SMG player Dylan "Dylan" Henderson and Bradley "Wuskin" Marshall cementing his position as one of the strongest Assault Rifle players in the entire league, London can easily content with the likes of Chicago and Atlanta at the event.

Paris Legion: Can They Do The Unthinkable?

In London, Paris Legion AR star Denholm "Denz" Taylor put on a masterclass with the M4A1, excelling in Search & Destroy in particular. The Legion managed to take the Huntsmen all the way to a fifth map at the Copper Box Arena, do they have what it takes to go one better if they run into Chicago once again?

Paris has been the talk of the Call of Duty League. Having been placed at the bottom of most pre-season power rankings, the Legion came out swinging with two victories at the opening weekend followed by another strong showing in London. The team are more than capable of performing well but whether they can take down the likes of Atlanta is another question in itself.

Chicago v Atlanta: The Headline Bout

The Atlanta Home Series is the first event of the year, where the top two teams could go head-to-head. Fresh from victory in London, Chicago are brimming with confidence with relative newcomer Dylan "Envoy" Hannon competing with the very best SMG players in the league. This team have managed to strike a near-perfect balance between outright aggression and ability to secure control of the map. If Chicago do take on the FaZe and are able to defeat them, then Chicago are the team to beat.

In the red corner is the Atlanta FaZe. Despite only sitting in fifth place in the table, the FaZe are still considered as one of the two best teams in the league due to the quality of players on the team and what they are capable of. Chris "Simp" Lehr and McArthur "Cellium" Jovel have looked very strong on Modern Warfare, with the quick pace of the game suiting the aggressive style of play that Atlanta possess.

This game really is too close to call. With both teams near inseparable on paper, the series could easily go the distance or if one of the teams comes in on the back foot, it could well be a swift 3-0 sweep.
