Pokemon Sword, Pokemon Shield: Walkthrough part 6, how to defeat Milo the Turffield gym champion?

Turrfield

Go to the left. Sonia's Yamper will show you the way.

You can get 3 X Attack on the way.

You will join Sonia at the bottom of the hill covered with a mysterious geoglyph. She thinks it's a representation of a Dynamaxed Pokémon.

The swirl represents the Vortex that appeared 3000 years ago in Galar, the famous Black Night.

How to defeat Milo of the Plant Type Gym?

Milo's Pokémon are of the Grass type. To beat it easily, try to put as many Pokémon of the Fire, Bug and Fly type as possible in your team.

Also stock up on Paralyze Heal as the Trainers and Champion have Pokémon that can paralyze yours.

When entering the arena, some notable NPCs:

  • The Man with the PokéBall head: he offers you a Friend Ball
  • A child exchanges his (normal) Meowth for a Galarian Meowth
  • Uniform Shop
  • Item shop

How does the Turrfield Gym operate?

For each Gym, you must first complete an Gym Mission, before you can face the Champion.

The mission of the Turrfield Arena is to run after the Wooloos. Your objective is to gather them all together at the foot of the straw bales.

It's very simple: run after the Wooloos and they'll easily get into a ball to break down the straw barrier.

Do the same a second time and then a third time. Beware of the Yamper who can turn everything upside down and direct the Wooloos to go the other way.
