The successful completion of awards in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will allow you to unlock a wide range of awards, including new Calling Cards, Emblems, Charms, Stickers, Weapon Blueprints and high amounts of XP to assist with levelling up.
Completing the Daily Challenges is also another good way of earning any extra XP. This XP will help greatly in increasing your level, unlocking more weapons and equipment and more missions. This year, the player has more ways of earning rewards than ever before.
The new system is a little confusing at first glance, which is why we will explain everything you need to know about missions right here!
Where can I find Challenges & Missions?
In the Multiplayer menu, select the "Barracks" tab at the top of the screen. You will find your daily challenges and all missions that are available there.
The daily challenges are normally very simple to complete and often involve killing a certain amount of enemies, win a number of games in a particular mode and score headshots with a specific weapon class. Daily challenges usually offer large amounts of XP for the rewards.
A guide to Missions
The missions are a series of objectives that all have a set theme that often reflects what challenges are required to earn the rewards. For example, you'll be asked to score a specific number of kills with a weapon or use a specific perk to complete a challenge. The mission challenges take a lot longer than the daily challenges but the rewards are much better! Rewards include new calling cards, sprays, emotes, emblems and weapon variants.
You can only choose one mission to complete at any one time. For example, if you complete the objectives required for a mission that has not been selected, they won't count. You do have the ability to select and deselect the mission you've chosen without losing its progress.
