In this guide, we will introduce you to all the different Perks that are available on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. These perks are useful when it comes to increasing explosive resistance, looting extra ammo and hiding from enemy killstreaks.
Here is a complete list of Perks on Modern Warfare:
Perk 1
Double Time - Doubles the duration of tactical sprint and increases crouch movement by 30%
Overkill - Carry two primary weapons.
Scavenger - Resupply ammo from fallen enemies.
E.O.D - Take reduced damage from non-killstreak explosives. Hack enemy Claymores, C4 and Proximity Mines.
Cold-Blooded - Undetectable by enemy AI targeting systems and enemy thermal optics. Immunity to Snapshot Grenades.
Perk 2
Restock - Recharge your equipment over 30 seconds.
Hardline - Killstreaks cost one less.
High Alert - Vision pulses when enemies outside of your view see you.
Ghost - Undetectable by enemy UAV, Radar Drones, Heartbeat Sensors and the High Alert perk. Also hides the death markers of enemies.
Kill Chain - Killstreaks earned in your current life earn kill credits towards other killstreaks.
Perk 3
Tune Up - Increases recharge rate of Field Upgrades by 50%
Amped - Faster weapon swap and rocket reload speed.
Shrapnel - Spawn with an exra piece of lethal equipment. Explosive damage delays the health regeneration of enemies.
Battle Hardened - Decreases strength of enemy flashes, stuns and EMP effects.
Spotter - See the location of enemy equipment, field upgrades and killstreaks through walls. Mark them for your team by looking them while aiming down your sights.
Tracker - When equipped, enemies leave behind a trail of footprints
The Best Perks
Lone Wolf
If you prefer to go it alone, this trio of perks should be great additions to your loadout. Using Double Time for longer tactical sprint, Ghost to stay hidden from opposing UAVs and Tracker to find any hidden opponents will give you the upper hand.
Team Spirit
If you'd rather play as a team, these three perks act as a way of assisting you and your fellow teammates. Select Spotter to mark enemy equipment for your team to avoid any of those pesky Claymores!
Spirit of Destruction
If you love to assert total dominance in a game, we recommend these perks to secure the victory. Overkill for two strong weapons in the back pocket, Hardline to get killstreaks faster and Shrapnel to use an extra piece of equipment.
