Consisting of North American players, the LA Guerrillas roster is one many people are writing off even before the competition gets underway. Needless to say that the players will be looking to prove the doubters wrong in the opening games of the season.

Roster Overview

Despite looking like the leftovers after the other franchises assembled their teams, there is definitely some potential hidden in this group of players. Led by two-time world champion and OpTic Gaming kryptonite, Aches, his leadership qualities are going to be tested if the Guerrillas are to have any chance of success in 2020.

Towards the end of Black Ops 4, Decemate was a name swirling around the community thanks to his impressive showings in tournaments. Now with the Guerrillas, 2020 is going to be a big year for Decemate to show what he is capable of on Modern Warfare. If he plays anything like he did last year, then this team should not be slept on.

Saints is an interesting acquisition indeed. Despite being a seasoned veteran, he has been unable to leave the country on many occasions so why would a team add him to the starting line-up when there are two stops outside of the US which could be important weekends for them to score points.

If this is the case, the substitutes are going to be an integral part of this roster. Ricky is a very safe bet considering he subbed in for Luminosity last season and saw varying levels of success.

Bringing in two hot amateur talents is yet to pay off for the Guerrillas but they are still capable of contending with the teams higher up the table.

History

On August 20th 2019, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment confirmed that it had acquired a spot in the Call of Duty League. Three months later, the Los Angeles Guerrillas branding was revealed.

Throughout October and November 2019, the roster came together and was rounded off on December 12th, with Blazt joining as a substitute respectively.
